In Uganda, the majority of cases handled by the Anti - Corruption Court are the result of infringements of the PPDA Act and Regulations.
The PPDA Act was passed in 2003 and a key reform was procurement decentralization. T.he law was later amended in 2014.
Recent reforms were a move towards e - procurement. The Government shall establish a Government Procurement Portal (GPP) for use by public sector entities to enter government procurement data. The information covers all procurement stages.
This report is based on information entered in the Government Procurement Portal by government entities in the education sector.
It covers the 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19 financial years.
