This facilitates networking, resource and experience sharing among its members and partners across the continent. Its website has become a major source of information for advocates, researchers and policy makers with more than 200,000 in the year 2013.
Through our website and listserves, we disseminate materials, research reports and tools to various stakeholders. In some cases, individuals and organizations directly approach the Secretariat for information and tools. In the coming year, a system for tracking information on these requests and needs will be developed.
Our social media platforms including [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected] as well as twitter (@AFIC1), Face Book ( www.facebook.com/africafoicentre.org and https://www.facebook.com/africansforopengovernment ) have become major resources for activists working on access to information, open government and open contracting.
